Travelling throughout Indonesia has fuelled my passion for discovering beautiful textiles, artisan craftsmanship and hidden treasures. I source unique fabrics from remote corners of the archipelago, many of which become the inspiration for my surfboard designs, bringing together the stories of the islands with the spirit of Australia's coastline.
Surfing has been woven through my life from the very beginning. I first rode the nose of my father's surfboard at five years old, later worked alongside renowned Australian surfing coach Martin Dunn, and went on to open and operate Salt Water Surf School while completing my degree in psychology.
As both a surfer and a woman, I understand the importance of riding a board that feels as beautiful as it performs. I love designing custom surfboards that inspire confidence in the water while reflecting the personality and style of the person riding them. And while many of my designs celebrate femininity, I also enjoy creating one-of-a-kind boards for the men in your life.
After stepping away from the ocean to raise my children, I wanted to create something that reflected every season of a surfer's life. A surfboard that performs beautifully in the water, yet carries equal value as a handcrafted piece of art within the home. Each Nusa Indah Surfboard is designed to be ridden, admired and cherished - bringing beauty to your space between swells and quietly reminding you that the ocean is always waiting.
Every board is individually handcrafted in Australia using premium materials and finished with carefully selected artworks and textiles inspired by my travels. My hope is that your board becomes more than equipment - that it becomes part of your story, accompanying years of adventures, memories and time spent by the sea.
