Jason Grimes

Collaboration

We are proud to present our collaboration with architect-turned-illustrator Jason Grimes. Featuring Jason's striking monochromatic study of Sabal palms at Barefoot Beach, Bonita Springs, Florida, the artwork is rendered in oil pastel and acrylic, capturing the quiet beauty and timeless rhythm of the coastline.
Bringing Jason's work across the seas to Australia's east coast, we have transformed his original artwork into a handcrafted surfboard that blurs the line between functional craft and collectible art. Whether carving through waves or displayed on your wall, this piece invites a sense of barefoot adventure and coastal escape.
The restrained monochrome palette evokes a feeling of calm, while the swaying palms speak to freedom, simplicity, and life lived at a slower pace. It is an invitation to leave the noise of the city behind, embrace the ocean's rhythm, and rediscover the places - and moments - that make us feel most alive.

Jason created a series of watercolours to share the excitment and journey from the city to the sea. Best enjoyed with four-legged friend.

We first discovered Jason's work through a commissioned interior concept painting of Aerin Lauder's boutique, featured in Elle Decor, where one of our surfboards made an unexpected appearance. We knew then that a collaboration was only a matter of time.
